Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Flyaway Fairy Ltd, Rubesova 583/2, Prague, Czech Republic. Contact for all privacy matters: [email protected].
2. What we collect and why
Waitlist and orders. When you leave your email at checkout we store your email address, the products in your cart, your chosen options and the approximate location (country and city level) derived from your IP address. We use this to notify you when shipping starts, to honour your locked-in discount, and to understand demand by region. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in understanding our audience.
Contact form. When you write to us we store your name, email and message to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Referrals. If you choose to share the product with friends, we store the email addresses you enter solely to send a single, one-off message on your behalf. We do not add those addresses to any marketing list. Legal basis: your request.
Technical data. Our hosting and security providers process IP addresses and browser data in server logs to deliver and protect the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
3. Geolocation
To show region-relevant content, the site determines your approximate location (country level) from your IP address using a third-party lookup service. No precise location is collected. You can prevent this with standard browser or network tools without losing any core function of the site.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
With your consent, we use analytics (such as Google Analytics) and advertising tools (such as the Meta pixel) to measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs. These tools set cookies and may transmit data to the respective providers, including transfers outside the EU protected by the applicable adequacy and contractual safeguards. You can give or refuse consent in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time. Without your consent these tools do not run.
5. Who receives data
We use carefully selected processors: website hosting and content delivery, form processing for waitlist and contact messages, and, once shipping starts, payment and logistics providers to fulfil your order. All processors act under data processing agreements. We never sell your data.
6. How long we keep data
Waitlist emails are kept until launch communication is complete or you unsubscribe, whichever is earlier. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Order and invoice data, once we ship, is kept for the retention periods required by tax and commercial law.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
8. Changes
We will update this policy as the shop evolves, for example when payment and shipping go live. The current version is always published here.
